Istanbul and Cappadocia Tour with Airfare (Toronto)

Day 1 – Welcome to Istanbul!

Upon arrival at the Istanbul Airport, you will be picked up by our guide and transported to your hotel. Your first day in Istanbul is your free time to settle in before your adventure takes off on day 2.

Day 2 – Old City Istanbul 

Site visitation – Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Hippodrome and Topkapi Palace.

The historic area of the Old City is a magnificent journey through history, referred to as Sultan Ahmet Centre. The architecture encompasses design based on the rule of the Byzantium, Roman Empire (Constantinople) and the Ottoman Empire. 9:00AM – You will be picked up at your hotel by our guide.  This 1-day tour in Istanbul will primarily be completed on foot, due to the close proximity of all the sites you will visit.

5:00PM – You will wrap up your tour and your guide will safely return you to your hotel.

Please note that we will be using public transit which is referred to as the tram. The ride is part of the experience so you can get a glimpse into the lives of the locals.

Day 3 –  Bosphurus Cruise

Site Visitation –  Peirre Loti Hill, Bosphurus Cruise,  Spice Market and Dolmabace Palace

Riding the smooth waves of the Bosphurus is a must!

9:00AM – After your breakfast your guide will meet you and your journey will begin at Peirre Loti Hill where you will take a cable car to the top. The view is beautiful, so get ready to take a number of pictures.  Upon completion of this adventure you will visit the Spice Market before you head on over to a wonderful cruise on the Bosphrus. Your day will end at the jaw-dropping Dolmabace Palace.

5:00PM – You will wrap up your day and your guide will return you to your hotel. Get ready for a full day ahead as you make your journey to the famous city of Cappadocia.

Day 4 – On your way to Cappadocia

You will be picked up and transferred to the airport for a flight to Kayseri. From here you will be transferred to a hotel at Kayseri where you will be prepared to experience a full day of guided tour.

You will begin your tour in Northern Cappadocia followed by a visit to the Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley , Avanos , Pasabag , Cavusin village , and the tour at the magnificent Urgup’s Fairy Chimneys . You will then be transferred back to your hotel and stay at a hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 5- Cappadocia Tour

9:30AM – After breakfast you will meet your guide at the hotel for 9:30am. A full day of guided tour awaits you starting at Southern Cappadocia where you will go through the Piegon valley, Underground city of Kaymakli and Rose valley for 1 hour walking, followed by Uchisar castle, and Esentepe Panorama. Esentepe Panorama is one of the best spots for beautiful photos in Cappadocia.. At the end of the tour you will be taken back to airport and fly to lstanbul. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Optional Activities: You are able to schedule a Hot Air Balloon right for 1 hour in the early morning on your second day in Cappadocia. The sunrise is worth the early wake-up and travel.

Day 6

9:00AM – After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and begin your tour of South Cappadocia. The sites you will visit toay are Uchiscar Casle, Uchisar Castle, Kızılçukur-Rose Valley, Cavuşin, Love Valley, Underground City, Pigeon Valley. The view of the places you will visit today will forever remain in your memory. It is a spectacular tour.

5:00PM – You will end your day and return to your hotel before your flight back to Istanbul.

Day 7 – Return to Istanbul

You will be taken back to Istanbul on flight. Your last day will be a day for you to explore the city again on your own.

Please not that Notice: Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, Grand Bazaar on Sundays and for Turkish public and religious holidays. On these specific days, they’ll be substituted with other museums or sites depending on the convenience of the program and schedule.

Accommodations include:

• Round trip flights from Toronto for 7 days and 6 nights

• All airport transfers, you are however responsible for your flight to and from Istanbul prior to the tour you’ve booked with us

• Guide – English Speaking

• Hotel with breakfast, 2 days (only) lunch covered
