This action-packed tour will feature historical sites in Western Turkey. The tour will be guided by our well-trained tour guides. Onur is the lead tour guide and operator with 20 years’ experience. You will be in good hands throughout your journey with us. Your hotel, transportation and meals are all included in this package. As for lunch, our guide will take you to authentic Turkish restaurants along your journey. The itinerary below may not mention meals in each section, but rest assured you will have those options available to you.

Day 1 –Â Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey! Your adventure begins in Istanbul – the heart of the continent that the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans have all called home.
Upon your arrival to Istanbul you will be picked-up by our guide and driver at the Airport. Look for a sign at arrival that states Istanbul Guide. You will be taken to your hotel where you can rest up. We understand travel can be exhausting; therefore, no tours will be booked on this day. Day 2 – Istanbul Old City Tour by Walking
9:00AM – After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by your tour guide. This portion of your tour will be conducted on foot. Please make sure to wear comfortable footwear.Each site will take approximately 1 hour. You will stop for lunch at the Grand Bazaar. There is a great donair spot by the entrance at Gate 1. If you are not sure, your guide will surely help you. The sites to visit on this day are Hagia Sophia, Byzantine Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.
4:30-5:00PM: Your guide will take you back to your hotel for a good night’s rest.
Day 3 – Istanbul to Canakkale & Gallipoli Tour
7:00AM – Today will be an early start as the travel will require some time. Your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel to your next destination to Canakkale. The duration of the drive will be 5 hours, along the way a stop will be made for refreshments and bathroom break. The view along your way is breathtaking. The following stops will be made to Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. All these sites will be in the same area. Therefore, do not require extensive travel.
5:00-6:00PM – At the end of the day tour, you will be taken to a hotel to rest, in Canakkale.

Day 4 – Troy & Pergamum tour and drive to Kusadasi
8:30AM: After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel to visit the Trojan Horse, Sacrificial Altars, the 3700
years old city walls, Houses of Troy I 3000 BC – 2500 BC, the Bouleterion (Senate Building), the Odeon (Concert Hall)
and Remains of the various cities from the 1st to 9th Troy. After Troy’s tour, drive to Pergamum for the ancient city
tour.
5:00PM – At the end of the day tour, you will be taken to a hotel to rest.
Day 5Â – Ephesus Tour
8:00-8:30 – After breakfast you will be picked-up for a spectacular tour in Ephesus. Ephesus was a city in ancient Greece. It was built in the 10th century BC on the site of the former Arzawan capital by Attic and Ionion Greek colonists. This place holds a special place in the heart of Christianity. We have plenty of time to visit the marble ruins of Ephesus, the famous Library of Celsus, the Gymnasium of Vedius, Stadium, and the Great Theatre. We’ll see ancient public toilets, a brothel, fountains, and various temples.
6:00PM – You will be taken to your next resting spot in Pamukkale, overnight.
Day 6 – Pamukkale Tour and Drive to Konya
8:00AM – After breakfast you will be picked up and visit Pamukkale which means ‘’Cotton Castle’’. Other sites to visit are Hierapolis, Necropolis and you can also swim in Cleopatra Swimming pool. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing of thermal spring water. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to a hotel
overnight in Konya. You will be provided with more time to rest due to the length of your journey.
Day 7Â – Konya TourÂ
9:00AM – After breakfast you will visit the museum of the famous poet and founder of the Sufi sect. Mewlana Rumi
brought forward the Whirling Dervishes which continue to exit in the area. You will visit the tomb and resting place
of Rumi along with the Museum. On your way there you will stop at a famous Carvanserai which is a historic site for
travelers of the past. An area that became a resting space between travels. This location is ideal for panoramic
pictures; therefore, a must. You will be transferred to Cappadocia for your overnight stay.
Day 8 – Cappadocia
10:00-10:30AM – After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel by your guide to visit Uchisar Castle, hike about
4km Red Valley, Cavusin Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Pigeon Valley, and Three Beauties Valley.
You will end your day early at 4PM for rest. Dinner is available at the hotel.
Day 9 – Cappadocia Day 2
9:00AM – After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and driver. You will visit Goreme Panorama, Open Air
Museum, Ortahisar, Fairy Chimney Valley, Devrent and Red River.
5:00PM – End of the tour your guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel in Ankara.
For those interested in the magnificent, breathtaking and magical experience on the Balloon ride, please speak to your guide. There is available ride during the wee hours of the day which is worth the early morning wake.
Day 10 – Overnight stay in Ankara
Ankara is a populated city located in the country of Turkey. This city is known to be the second largest city in the country
following Istanbul. Here you will find the famous monument honoring the late Mustafa Kemel Attaturk – the man who
modernized Turkey. Your day 10 will be a time for you to relax as your journey so far has been fun filled and packed.
Your guide will support you with any needs you may needs.
Following are optional:
Tuz Golu (Salt Lake) is an optional element to your tour. Your guide can take you here in the afternoon once you
have taken the rest you need.
Day 11 – Day tour of Ankara and return to IstanbulÂ
9:00AM – After your morning breakfast you will meet your guide and driver. You will have a tour of the Parliament in
Ankara and famous Monument for Attaturk. This will be a half day tour before your return to Istanbul. The drive is
relaxing, and we will make stops for food and refreshments.
Day 12- Istanbul
After breakfast you are free to enjoy Istanbul on your own before your departure. You will be transferred to the airport
which will be end of your tour with us.
